Both Encounter/Charges and Patient Demographics
For some practices, particularly those with a lot of new patients and a single visit for each one (such as a laboratory), it is much more convenient to have the patient demographics and encounters on the same spreadsheet. You can have a single row on the spreadsheet that includes both the patient demographics and the charge data.
Upload Advantage can handle this as well. It first uploads all the patients (again checking to see if they are already in Tebra), and then uploads the charges data. This is a huge time saver!
Note: each line of “Both” upload type is considered two lines for pricing purposes as it performs one patient demographics upload and one encounter upload.
